There is one thing that is most unavoidable.. and that is getting sick during the winter season. Unfortunate for us both my husband and one of my kids came down with the same things as I did, at the same time. *sighs* Well at least we have a cozy blanket we could all snuggle into and some delicious soup and tea, Hopefully we get better soon so we can go back to having some fun in the fresh layer of snow that just fell over the town.

This afternoon I was wandering around when I came upon a kite resting on the grass. I thought to myself that perhaps I could get this kite into the sky. Well I tried and tried and I just could not get it up high enough and it kept falling....

I was told though that even when you fall off the horse, you should always get up.. dust yourself off.. and jump back on that horse again. So I did just that.. I picked up that kite and I waited till the biggest of breezes swept by me and what do you know? I got that kite up into the sky so high.

So wow this last month has been incredibly stressful not having internet. I am so excited to finally be back and be able to once again blog on a regular biases. There is no better time in the world - then spring time!!! The air is fragrant with the smell of flowers. The birds song is joyous. I just love this time of the year, don't you? Best of all you can finally start wearing those pretty new jumpers you have been dreaming of all winter long. Lucky for me mine favorite store released these adorbs new jumpers just in the nick of time.
